  • What are your tuition rates?

    • 45 minutes per week: $50.00/month
    • 1 hour per week: $65.00/month
    • 2 hours per week: $120.00/month
    • 3 hours per week: $175.00/month
    • 4 hours per week: $230.00/month
    • Unlimited classes: $265.00/month

  • Is there a registration fee?

    Yes, there is a yearly registration fee of $30.00 or $45.00 per family. The registration fee is non-refundable

  • Do I have to sign a contract?

    No, tuition is paid on a monthly basis with no contracts.

  • How do I pay my monthly tuition?

    You will receive a statement each month via the email you provide at registration. You can pay by credit card online through your parent portal, by check made out to Dancemakers and placed in the studio tuition drop box (located in the lobby) or mailed to 5243 Ehrlich Rd, Tampa, Fl 33624 or by automatic payments through your bank.

  • Is there viewing for your dance studios?

    Yes. Two of our dance studios offer viewing. The third studio does not offer viewing. All classes for our younger dancers take place in a studio with viewing.

  • What attire is required for dance class?

    Pre-School and Combo: any color and style leotard and tights; dance skirts/shorts are permitted; pink ballet shoes and black tap shoes.

    Jazz and Tap: any color and style leotard and tights; dance shorts, pants, or leggings are permitted; jazz and tap shoes, respectively.

    Hip Hop and Acro: any athletic style of clothing; no loose/baggy t-shirts; sneakers and bare feet, respectively.

    Ballet: black leotard, pink tights; ballet skirts are permitted; pink ballet shoes.

    Hair should be pulled away from the face for all classes and in a bun for ballet.


  • Where can I buy dance attire and shoes?

    At the Dancemakers Shop Nimbly Store you can shop by class to get just the right items.

    As an alternative you can sometimes find the right items at Walmart, Target, Amazon, DiscountDance.com., dancewearsolutions.com, Dance Tampa (808 South Dale Mabry Hwy), On Your Toes (11201 N. 56th St. #8), Dance Gear Etc. (1705 Dale Mabry Hwy).

  • Do you have recitals? If so, when and where?

    Yes. We have two recitals each year. One is held in December and the other in June. They are held at a local high school, typically Sickles High School. 

  • What is the cost of recital?

    There is a  $40 participation fee

  • Do we buy costumes for recital?

    For our December recital, dancers will wear basic dance attire, such as a leotard with tights, and Dancemakers will provide accessories, such as a skirt and hair bow. Costumes are bought for the June recital. They range in price from an average of $65.00 – $125.00. These costumes are purchased in December of the dance year.

  • Do we have to buy tickets for recital?

    Our December recital is used as a teen toy drive for Metropolitan Ministries. No tickets are purchased, entry into the show is one (or more) toy(s) for teens. Our June recital does require tickets to be purchased for entry. Tickets are $15.00 each for the June recital.

  • Are there other costs involved in recital?

    For the June recital, we have a picture day. There is no fee to participate in the group photo that is put in the recital program book. Various priced photo packages are available for purchase of the group and individual photos. (Optional)

    Trophies and program books are sold for the June recital. (Optional)

    Costume accessories (tights and shoes) will need to be purchased if you don’t already have them.

  • Are your recitals mandatory?

    No, recitals are not mandatory.
